The Opportunity. 

This fast-growing e-commerce company is looking for a world-class Chief Marketing Officer to report directly into the CEO, lead their marketing team of 15+ and guide them to the $100M+ level. Groove Life is looking for a seasoned and natural leader who has already successfully led a large marketing team for a fast-growing, high-growth e-commerce company, and wants to do it again!


What You'll Do.

  • Work with the CFO to create informed projections and strategic budgets; managing real-time adherence and overall performance to goals.

  • Bring unparalleled creativity in implementing marketing strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.

  • Hold the team accountable to individual and team goals and develop and act on reporting for the executive team.

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that power revenue growth on new channels

  • Utilize a data-driven approach to identify and expand the highest ROI initiatives.

  • Identify and execute on strategic partner revenue initiatives.

  • Integrate marketing and branding in the entire customer experience.

  • As a senior leader, you will be a positive and energetic force, motivating and mentoring your team, and inspiring cross-functional partners.

  • Work closely with creative to bring new products to market.

  • Leveraging and expanding the reputation that has been established.

Skills and Experience You Should Bring. 

  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce/digital marketing and team leadership and management

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue-based results, preferably scaled revenue beyond $100M

  • Proven ability to build, lead, manage high-performing marketing team of 20+

  • Creative problem solver and analytical thinker who can be both a visionary and an executor, balancing strategic thinking with flawless implementation.

  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise

  • You know precisely what hyper-growth at a company looks like because you’ve created it before and can navigate ambiguity and change with ease

  • Entrepreneurial and scrappy, willing to roll up your sleeves and work with all departments, management levels, and external stakeholders to get the job done

  • Likes to work hard, play hard and have fun doing it

  • You have the experience needed to be successful in this role, understand the principles of growth, and are a master of recruiting and developing talent.

  • Data-driven strategist; strong vendor management skills.
