The Opportunity. 

Made is looking for an experienced sales executive to leverage their innovative technology and build a world-class sales team for the rapidly expanding company. Reporting to the SVP of Growth + Revenue, the VP of Sales will inherit a dynamic 10-person team and look to scale that team by 4-5x within a year.


What You'll Do.

  • Strategize, develop and implement systematic hiring, sales programs, training and coaching, and sales tools to ensure the highest quality of service to customers and sustainable growth in sales.

  • Streamline sales processes and optimize sales operations.

  • Find creative ways to leverage the Made product to enable and improve sales techniques.

    • For example: the current sales process includes a 1-hour demo meeting with prospective clients.

  • Optimize inbound sales and guide strategy to expand into outbound sales.

  • Develop and execute end to end programs to increase sales productivity.

  • Identify best-practices that can scale across the business, including the development of additional sales programs.

  • Work closely with stakeholders in operations, finance and marketing to align on company wide initiatives.

Skills and Knowledge You Should Possess. 

  • 10+ years in Sales, Business Development

  • Demonstrated experience building and overseeing big teams.

  • Experience scaling high consideration, long sales cycle products.
    Experience implementing and optimizing sales operations.

  • Startup experience preferred

  • Experience/contacts in the Home Improvement, Renovation, or Construction industries a plus 

  • Track record of organization-level influence

  • Displays extreme ownership across every vertical while moving projects forward

  • The ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional organization

  • Passionate about the small details — from site performance to subtle animations

  • Resourceful and scrappy problem solver

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

  • You make everyone feel a part of your team
